So I Stumbled Accross This Video On 2013 Trend Predictions, I Didn't Really Have Any Predictions Until I Watched It & Thought "Okay, Maybe I Do Have A Few." I Wouldn't Say I Follow Trends Though, I Think There Is A Time When Everything Is In Fashion & Often I Do Dress To Reflect That Same Mood. I Think It's Important To Invest In Timeless Pieces Which Can Be Worn Forever (Foreva, Eva.. Foreva Eva?) 

So Sit Tight, It's Gonna Be A Bumpy Ride. If I Look Into My Mirror Ball Close Enough...

My 2013 Trend Predictions:

1. I Think T-shirts Are Gonna Be HUUUUGE This Year, I'm Not Talking Your Average Tank Top, I Mean, Loud, In Your Face Slogan T-shirts. We All Witnessed The Explosion Of The 'Celine Paris' Tee As Well The Parody By Michael Agunwobi (Celine Up The Bitches), BOY London Also Had A Major Resurgence, Which Is Probably Due To Rihanna's Heavy Endorsement Of The Brand. We Had The T-shirts From Givenchy Which Were EVERYWHERE, They've Now Branched Out To Phone Cases. Then We Had Uber Cool French Brand Les Plus Dore's Range Of T-shirts, (Team Margiela, Team Tisci, Team Marant Etc). The Last T-shirt To Become Popular Was The Brian Lichtenburg 'Homies' Tee, Which Is On It's Way As We Speak... I Think It Is A Great Play On The Hermes Brand. For 2013, I Predict That Small Independent Labels Are Gonna Be BIG, If You Don't Understand What I Mean, Have A Look At Mini Powerhouses Stussy & Trapstar.

2. I Predict That Streetwear Is Gonna Continue To Influence Fashion In A Maaajor Way, I Myself Have Embraced It All From The Start But I Think Some People May Still Be Reluctant, Rihanna Again Is A Good Ambassador For This Style Of Dress, As Well As Rita Ora, A$AP Rocky & Kanye West, (I Take It Everyone Saw Kim Rocking Those Corn Rows When She Went To Harlem). I Think That Streetwear Is Being Seen As More Luxurious Now.

3. Monochrome Is Gonna Be... Well Monochrome. I Think Either All White Or Either All Black, I've Never Been Quite Able To Pull Of All Black I Don't Think Until Recently, I Think If You're Wearing An All Black Look, You Should Either Have Something Structured Or Bigger In Volume On The Top, Then Your Bottoms Should Be Skin Tight, For Example, A Skinny Jean, Leather Trouser Or Maxi Skirt. It's ALLLL About The Silhouette!
